From the basic Black-oil Sunflower, Safflower and Millet to premium seed mixes, we strive match my theory that to attract the greatest diversity of birds, you need to offer them their preferred food. What you will not find in our bird seed mixes are "fillers" so commonly found in cheap mixes. Just say no to Milo. Have no fear faithful bird feeders… Mark's Favorites: Boardwalk Blend • The formula we blend for the birds of this area. It is a blend of both black oil and striped sunflower, safflower, peanuts and a very small amount of white millet and cracked corn. Fine Sunflower Chips • This is my choice for feeding finches. They are higher in oil and fat than nyjer and a native seed to our area (nyjer is a relative to rice and is grown in India, Pakistan and Ethiopia). A bag of Fine Sunflower Chips is 100% food making it a great option for those who do not want to deal with waste. Shelled Peanuts • I have always loved my peanut feeder. It foils the squirrels and you get to watch the woodpeckers, titmice and nuthatches feeding for extended periods of time. I chose to expand our Wild Delight line about a year ago. Wild Delight seed has many great attributes. They are really dedicated to high nutritional value for the birds and clean fresh seed for the customers. It truly is the cleanest seed I have ever dealt with. Another testament to their commitment to the customer is their Frequent Buyer Program. Total Cuisine • Pricey but, as the name states, total food. There is no waste in this bag of bird seed. Great for those feeding over a patio or area they do not want hulls to gather. Available in 5lb & 20lb bags. Shelled Peanuts • Perfect size and price for most peanut feeders or to mix in a custom blend of your own. Available in 10 & 20lb bags. Feast • Our best economy blend. I use it as a ground feed for my doves and sparrows. It contains lots of millet but no Milo or Cracked Corn. Comes in 5lb, 20lb or 40lb bags. Other Good Sellers: Nut & Berry • Low waste, good diversity of seed, nuts and fruit. 5lb & 20lb bags.
